At Good Samaritan Cars, Inc. our primary focus is on helping single Moms and Dads with minor children at home, to obtain basic reliable transportation.

| Unlike other charities, we use the donated car directly in our program to help people within the community.
With a donated car a family can have the mobility needed to address healthcare issues, childcare concerns, shopping needs, and most important, employment. Transportation is a major hurdle for many in obtaining and maintaining gainful employment; for continued self-sufficiency.

| Finding The Right Family |

The Good Samaritan Car Ministry program provides a refurbished vehicle to qualified recipients. In return Good Samaritan Cars retains a lien on each vehicle for a period of one (1) year so the donated car cannot be sold or traded. This ensures the car donation will be used in our Car Ministry only as a resource for needed transportation.

There are additional contractual obligations required of recipients such as maintaining car insurance, valid drivers’ license, monthly reports for follow-up studies.
Our Car Ministry gives away the donated vehicle to a qualified recipient in an “as is” condition. Maintenance is the responsibility of the recipient.

In short, our purpose is to provide transportation for those who need it, but cannot obtain or afford to purchase a vehicle by any reasonable means.
